Binary, levels, and elements

Understanding the figures
The Tablet of Fate is a 30 step progression of 4 sets of binary numbers

in the following four sequences
0, 1
0, 1, 2, 3
0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15
It will be seen that there are:

two numbers in the first set, 

four numbers in the second set, 

eight numbers in the third set,

sixteen numbers in the fourth set 

(2 + 4 + 8 + 16 = 30 binary numbers). Each set of numbers is double the size of the previous set (2, 4, 8, and 16) 


A binary number uses only the digits one and zero to represent a number, for example: 010 = 2

or 1100 = 12. It is easiest to understand how a binary number works if we think of the ones (1) as switches that are on, and the zeros (0) as switches that are off, for example 010 is off, on, off, and 1100 would be thus: on on off off. 

The ones and zeros in a binary number have a preset value, according to their position in the binary number. 

The right most position has the value of 1 (one),

 the position second from the right has the value of 2 (two), 

the third position has a value of 4 (four). 

And if we continue this progression, we will find that each position is double the value of the preceding position to the right. So in our example number we have four places from right to left, each with a value that is

on or off:

So they are added up as----+8--+4--+0-+0
To get the value of our number, all we need to do is add up the values that are on. (8 + 4 + 0 + 0

= 12)

In the example number (1100) the right most digit is a zero, thus the value of the position (1) is

turned off and so it has the value of zero.

The second digit from the right is also turned off and has the value of Zero. The third digit from

the right is a one (1) thus that value (4) is turned on and is added to the total, and the fourth and

left most number is also a one (on) and so it's value (8) is on and added to the full total.

It should be noted that the doubling sequences of the positional values in a binary number are

identical to the doubling sequence of the sets of numbers on the Tablet of Fate. Following this

pattern each of the sets of figures have a numerical progression.

0,1 for the Twin Polarities. (In binary 0, 1) light and dark.
0,1,2,3 for the Four Currents. (In binary 00, 01, 10, 11) earth, water fire wind
0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7 for the Eight Rays (in binary 000, 001, 010, 011, 100, 101, 110,111). Saturn,Jupiter, mars, etc. 

0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,15 for the elemental counter changes. (In binary 0000, 0001, 0010 etc....) zodiac and elemental rulers.
The figures on the Tablet of Fate are constructed as follows: Each figure is composed of a combination of :

double dots O O (zero or off) 

and single dots O (one or on).

The figures are constructed in a bottom to top manner: rather than in a sideways manner.

.o o = katu/zero
. o =is tebu/one

If we turn the figures on their left side we have the binary numbers; 00 and 01.

Each zero - (called katu) means the additive number that is in that position is absent (off), each one (called tebu) means that value is present (on).

The easyest way to remember the Additive value at any position in a binary number is to just start at the right most postion and just double the value for each bumber goin left. I.E.

a four position binary number(1001) has the following additive values for each position (8-4-2-1) so our examples above are:

turned on its left it become 00 = (0+0) =0

Both additive number positions (2-1) are off

. o = one

turned on it's left become 01= (0+1) = 1

The of the additive number positions (2-1) the right hand additive is on

. o = Value position is on (+2)

.o o = Value position is off (+0)

lets do little tougher one:

This is a three position / level binary

If we flip it to the left and it become 101 in bnary

It will have the additive values of: (4-2-1)

4 is on / 2 is off / 1 is on!

remember to find the additive value of an on switch just start with the value of 1 on the right side of the binary number and just keep doubleing the value of each position a you go left.
101 = 4+0+1=5

In addition to the binary numbers, each of the figures is composed of a 'root' combined with a polarity:

.o o = (zero) negative is the root (negative is also a polarity)
This is the figure called Katu (that which falls)

.o o = negative is the root
. o = positive is the polarity
This is the sign for water, it is seen as positive under negative, and the binary number 01 (0+1)=1

. o = positive is the polarity
thus; positive water, this is the sign for the planet earth (the god Ea), and the binary number 011

(0+2+1)=3.

. o = Positive is the polarity
thus; positive Ea, this is the binary number 0111 (0+4+2+1)=7

The figure above is also seen as a combination of the figure of water

over the figure of air/wind

so it is called 'air of water' (binary 11 under binary 01). it is also the bianary number 0111 (7) in the fourth set of figures on the tablet.

because there is a sence that a tablet is a readable document each figure has a short phrase

that is extracted from how the figures read from bottom to top (the earthly view)

If we the figure at the bottom line the two figures are

. o =Tebu (that which rises, light, bright, center, self)

this is seen as Tebu of Enki and because it is the first step we treat it like a noun or name.

we choose the phrase "bright cleverness"

Divided at the next level it makes Wind of water

. o =water (change, motion, adaptation)

. o = eind (wisdom, evolution, motion)

We phrase this as be relative to the first phrase saying "begets evolved change"

divided at the third level it makes Sun of katu

.o o = Katu (that which falls, outer, darkness, the boundry)

We say "Thus creativity meets the boundry"

finaly we tack on a statment about the whole sign itself."I go forth"

so the reading of the figure called Wind of Water is thus:

Bright cleverness begets evolved change, Thus creativity meets the boundry and I go forth!

anoher reading of it is:

At the center of form the mind adapts, thus if individuality meets opposition I will cross!

The readings of the tablet are such that we have seven different books that hold the readings of of the seven great sages(Aphkallu)

The readings of the sages go through the entire tablet from katu to wind of wind of wind of wind (8 level figures)

thats 510 figures each with 1 to 8 lines. With there being seven aphkallu that is 3570 interpretations!
